Minnesota's Regional Centers of Excellence (RCE), facilitate and support a continuous improvement process that is focused on transforming educational systems to ensure high levels of learning for students without exception. We have an opening for an Information Technology Specialist. This is a full-time, non-exempt position (hourly). This person will be responsible for providing system administration for network assets and technical support to internal and external customers. Two plus years in a combination of education and work experience in information technology or related field preferred. Will train the right candidate. Competitive compensation and benefits package with employer-sponsored group health and dental insurance, paid time off, and pension plan (based upon eligibility). Hourly rate based on education and work experience. Pay range is $22 - $28/hour plus on-call stipend of $25 per day on weekdays and $40 per day on weekends and holidays. We have an opening for a School Advocate, Northern Pines Regional Center of Excellence, at NESC. It's a year-round, full-time, exempt (salary) position. This person will be responsible for fostering positive, productive, and collaborative relationships with Regional Centers of Excellence colleagues, districts, schools, charters, service cooperatives, and the Minnesota Department of Education. He/she must have the ability to establish coaching relationships, as well as develop, facilitate, and evaluate professional development and technical assistance with adult learners. Experience in a multi-tiered system of support framework is desired. The ultimate goal is to close achievement gaps while raising achievement for all students and increasing graduation rates for all student groups.
