NESC 2011 Regional Health & Wellness Event!

NESC's first Regional Health & Wellness on April 20, at Virginia Regional Medical Center in Virginia was a success with members from across the region attending. Pat Geraghty, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota was the keynote speaker. 
The day continued with 30-minute breakouts that focused on Worksite Assessment by Ann Dolence, Wellness Event Planning featuring Connie Larson, Consumer Directed Health Care Plans by Mike Grahek and Marlo Peterson, and Healthcare Facility use for Community wellness by Brian McCarthy. Attendees received an array of helpful information during the event.



Carolyn Espel facilitated office yoga for the group of attendees, which was well received. Following, Ann Dolence provided the closing note. The group walked away with a better understanding of wellness and many tips for improving overall wellness.
